As of to date, A6N has employed several First Nations people from many communities across Ontario. Project locations allow us to seek out skilled trades people and offer them the opportunity of becoming a team member.
A6N is participating in initiatives like Diversity & Inclusion training which better align us with Aecon’s program of “Women in the Trades”, this will guarantee we are building inclusion into every aspect of our culture at A6N.
“Working for A6N the last few years has given me a lot of opportunities to learn new skills in the construction trade. I have received all different kinds of training that allowed me to do my best while on the job. A6N is an excellent place to work as everyone works together as a team. They ensure safety of their employees and the community. And being able to work in my community has given me a great sense of pride that I am a part of making a difference for our people.” – John Jacobs. A6N Employee
